A Song Heard by the Wind

A melody lingers, a song in my breast,
A tune of longing, with no place to rest.
Sorrow's a shadow, a weight on my soul,
No kindred spirit, to make me feel whole.

My heart cries for connection, a yearning so deep,
But walls I've constructed, my emotions they keep.
Then, a whisper arises, a voice soft and clear,
"Seek solace in nature, cast off all your fear."

Into the wild I venture, beneath open skies,
Where meadows dance golden, and mountains arise.
The wind whispers secrets, through leaves rustling low,
A symphony calming, a solace to know.

The crash of the waves, a rhythm so grand,
Washes over me, erasing the sand
Of worries and troubles, that burdened my mind,
Nature's embrace, a solace I find.

The song in my heart, it transforms and takes flight,
No longer unheard, bathed in nature's soft light.
For companionship found, in the whisper of trees,
My spirit feels lighter, carried on the breeze.
